LATINO YOUTH OUTREACH (LYO), a 501(c)3 designated nonprofit organization, assisting Latinos students to overcome the barriers that stand between them and a college degree, with workshops, mentoring and educational programs in STEM and scholarships for continuing education.
In addition, LAtino Youth Outreach sports programs in moderate to low-income communities that play a positive role in the development of Latino youth by teaching theresponsibility and commitment cultivated through their involvement, and the practicing of their individual skills learned through playing. Latinos are the most rapidly growing minority group in the United States, predicted to comprise of 29% of the population by 2050, yet they have the lowest college completion rate. While Latino high school graduation rates have improved, only 25% hold Bachelor Degrees.
To INSPIRE, EDUCATE and EMPOWER inner city Latino youth from low-income families by providing resources to strengthen their development and promote the importance of FAMILY VALUES and STRONG COMMUNITIES and CONTINUING EDUCATION with Student Empowerment Workshops and HISPANIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARD SCHOLARSHIP, honoring over 10,000 exceptional GRADUATING LATINO SENIORS for their academic excellence since 1995.

One-third of Latino students in public schools live at or below the poverty level, and the majority of these students attend schools that lack the resources and guidance to help with the complexities of navigating the education process to reach higher education.

We are proud to announce, LatinoYouthOutreach.org will present the Top Latino Students with the 2023 HISPANIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS SCHOLARSHIP, before their families, friends and fans, during an on-field presentation at home plate, along with a Latino baseball player, during Hispanic Heritage Month in the following Major League Baseball stadiums

Latino Youth Outreach Empowerment Workshop will select the top Latino seniors from high schools in low income communities, to participate in the on-line Latino Empowerment Workshop, designed to assist seniors and their families with guidance and resources to navigate the complexities of pursing higher education.
In 2007, Latino Youth Outreach, a 501c 3designated non-profit organization, introduced the Urban Youth Baseball Initiative, gifting sports equipment to inner-city urban youth (Boys and Girls) and sports programs in Baseball, Soccer, Basketball and Hockey coming in 2023, allowing that every kid is exposed to the pro-social behaviors learned through youth sports programs in moderate to low-income communities that play a positive role in the development of Latino youth by teaching self-esteem and responsibility cultivated through their participation, in addition, to the importance of teamwork, healthy lifestyle, family values and the importance of navigating the complexities in reaching their goals in education and life.teamwork, social skills, healthy lifestyle, family and community values and the importance of education and navigating the complexities in reaching their goals.
The 2023 TROPICAL MUSIC FESTIVAL in Puerto Rico raised money for scholarships in the arts and to donate musical equipment to public schools by paying tribute to the LEGENDS OF SALSA.
Latino Youth Outreach has empowered over 150,000 Latino students with resources and workshops for continuing educations and honored over 10,000 exceptional Latino Seniors (Grade 12) with the HISPANIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS SCHOLARSHIP for higher education.
the Tropical Music Festival have raised funds though musical concerts to Empower Latino Students, from low-income families, with Latino Achievement Awards Scholarship for continuing education in the arts and support inner-city community programs with donations
The Latino Sports Initiative supports inner city youth sports programs teaching teamwork, fair play, healthy lifestyle, family values and strong communities by DONATING TEAM EQUIPMENT BAGS with the elements to play, UNIFORMS & TROPHIES for Little Leagues, Soccer and other youth sports.
MOST INFLUENTIAL LATINOS AWARD, presented to Latino Sports figures, celebrities, entertainers and local community leaders for their EFFORTS and CONSTANT COMMITMENT to LATINO YOUTHS and building strong communities.
LYO supports inner-city programs that serve Latino youths in low income Latino communities, programs that provide connections to knowledge and innovation, advocacy, leadership development.
